Ascend Education recently organized a webinar with their Brazilian partner, Escola Superior de Redes (ESR). The webinar, hosted on ESR’s website, was about modern computer networks and the role of the systems administrator.
ESR is a service unit of the National Teaching and Research Network in Brazil. The company promotes training and professional development in the IT industry. Our friend Robert McMillen, an industry expert with 20+ years of experience and more than 50 technical certifications, led the webinar discussion.
In this webinar, Robert discussed objects contained in a modern network and how a systems administrator needs to manage them. He also explained popular products and services in a cloud environment and what you can expect to manage with cloud computing, along with serverless and containerized computing. Lastly, Robert discussed the future of cloud and on-premises computing.
