We were in the market for curriculum to teach virtualization from a broader perspective than by just teaching one specific platform because our employers in the local area were not using the same virtualization product across the board. Ascend Education's virtualization program turned out to be the answer. The curriculum includes text, video demonstrations, and ample virtual labs to teach the topics at a higher level than courses that only teach concepts. The cost per student is very attractive, and we have graduated many potential employees that understand the virtualization realized by HyperV, VMware, Xserver, and cloud products in a one semester program. We are very satisfied with Ascend Education and are investigating other products from their line of curriculums.

The Virtualization Essentials course provided the material my students needed. It provides a good understanding of the basics of various platforms they are likely to see in the industry and the labs help to give hands-on experience with the software.
